Hello. I am Edie Jardine and I am the new Operational Manager for HIP. I am really looking forward to working with HIP; it is already clear to me that it is a very warm, personal, inspirational charity, making a huge difference to Cheshire head injury survivors and their families.
My approach is very much a leadership approach – I enjoy working with others to share strengths and skills to achieve goals and aspirations. I have gained my management experience both within the local authority and the charity sector. My work has been focused on safeguarding vulnerable groups as well as youth justice. I am passionate about equality and inclusion.
In my spare time I am kept busy with my two sons – usually on a bmx track somewhere or on a football pitch being stuck in the goal! I also spend a lot of time walking my new puppy- a whippet, who very much has a mind of his own!
I am really looking forward to meeting everyone in the coming weeks; to spend time with members, to hear personal stories, learn more about the charity and to begin working together with the fantastic team at HIP.
