On Sunday 4th March, former HIP trustee, Helen Bichard, is taking on Chester's 10K, and all in support of fundraising for HIP.
Last year, Helen Bichard took on a 5K in Manchester. Having not run in 27 years, 5K seemed like a big challenge but 5K she managed, and this year she's doubling that distance and taking on a huge 10K race in Chester. Last year, Helen ran in support of HIP. She was aiming to raise £250 but in fact raised an incredible £505! With every penny helping to fund a coffee morning, course or event, receiving such an incredible amount of money to support the day to day running of HIP was amazing.
This year Helen's racing in Chester's 10K on Sunday 4th March. The race starts at 9:30am near the Northgate Arena. It then goes north-west out of the city to go via Mollington, and finishes at the iconic Chester town hall and cathedral. Helen is once again running in support of HIP and is aiming to raise £500 this time. The HIP team will be in Chester supporting Helen and will be able to be found at the Northgate Arena. Then more supporters will be stationed near Mollington willing on Helen to the finish line.
We couldn't be prouder of Helen, her achievements and the amazing work she does for HIP. To donate to Helen, please use the following link: https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/helenbichard2.
