Paul Triggs

Paul is keen to see if any other HIP members would like to be introduced to the sport. Well Paul you really look like you are enjoying yourself! Well done and thank you for sharing with us.

Paul said "I was fortunate to meet a lady with no legs; 'Angie Spurr' who invited me to Whitworth ski centre in Rochdale, Lancs. We skied together on sit-skis (a board with a seat on it) until I mastered the board when I was allowed to ski behind the boat by myself. I have now been skiing at the Whitworth centre for more than 5 years.

The Whitworth centre is currently run by Nick Mc'Garry and his family (. Their aim is to promote water activities which range from rides on inflatables to international high performance skiing. More than any other ski club they cater for introducing people with special needs to the different forms of the sport"
