Manchester Marathon Fundrasier

We are delighted to announce that Helen Coates will be running the Manchester Marathon on Sunday April 5th to fundraise for HIP.

Helen is running the event in memory of Sharon Hayes. Sharon was Helen's Father in Law's partner, and a wonderful Grandma to all his grandchildren. She sadly passed away in May 2019 to cancer, however she had been part of HIP for a number of years.

Many of you will have known Sharon for a long time. She came along to the Ellesmere Port coffee morning whenever she could and she always enjoyed our trips and events and came along with a big smile and her bubbly personality which you can see on this photo taken at Chester Zoo.

Sharon thought a lot of the charity and enjoyed many trips with her friends so Helen is trying to raise as much money as she can for HIP to enable us to keep helping others and we are so grateful.
