HIP in Cheshire is delighted to announce that a local business, set up to respond to the PPE shortages at the moment, will be making a donation to HIP for every order placed.
Logistics_2020 based in Ellesmere Port, has been set up by members of the Hayward family who have long supported HIP.The photos show Paul and 2 of his sons who have completed sponsorship events for HIP in the past and also Paul in lockdown still proudly wearing his HIP T-shirt. Paul was one of the first to join HIP and is now one of our key volunteers and he and his family know first hand the loneliness and isolation that people face when they have an acquired brain injury. This is something which most of us are only now having to deal with in lockdown, but for us, lockdown will come to an end.
Fundraising, like all our activities, has been massively effected by Covid19. We have had to cancel our annual golf event and sponsored walk which normally generate a lot of income, so these donations will be greatly appreciated. In fact the first donation has come through thanks to an order placed by Aintree Sanitiser. For any more information, please contact logistics2020ltd@gmail.com
If any individuals would like to support us, we have set up a donation page at https://cafdonate.cafonline.org/12725 or if any companies would like to discuss how they can support HIP please contact lisa.forbes@hipincheshire.org.uk. Any donations will allow us to keep supporting members through this crisis and more importantly, make sure we can continue to deliver our coffee mornings, trips, events and activities for all our members across Cheshire once things return to normal.
