FUNDRAISING OFFICER FOR HEAD INJURED PEOPLE IN CHESHIRE (HIP)

15 HOURS A WEEK, SALARY £19,000 – £21,500 PRO RATA (Actual Salary £7,702 – £8,716 per annum)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Fundraising Officer to join our team. We are seeking an experienced and effective fundraiser, who will be responsible for designing and delivering a fundraising action plan, building successful relationships with supporters and members and increase awareness of HIP in Cheshire.

It is essential that candidates have a proven track record of income generation and meeting financial targets. Candidates must also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be creative with a strong team ethic.

You must be confident and self-motivated, with a proven background of managing your own workload to meet targets and deadlines. Experience of developing regional fundraising activities and events, and the local case for support, is essential. You will also have the ability to forge excellent relationships with prospective donors, stakeholders, corporates, members and volunteers.

This position will require travel within the geographical area of Cheshire and include some evening and weekend working where necessary. A full clean driving license and access to a car is essential. The post is based at the HIP office in Ellesmere Port, however remote working will be required at times.

You will play an important part in generating funds for HIP in Cheshire which is a membership focused charity for those who have had a brain injury and/or their carers/family members. Due to the size of the charity the post holder will also be expected to have direct member contact to support coffee mornings, activities and trips.
