The Hayward Family are HIP

Haywards are HIP!

At HIP in Cheshire we are very grateful and proud of all the fundraising people do for HIP in Cheshire but just a special mention to the Hayward Family who continue to shine and help HIP so much and have made such a difference to our Action Brain Injury Awareness week.

Paul, Eileen and their family never cease to amaze us with their continued enthusiasm, ideas and commitment .

Paul who acquired brain injury in 2007, suffered a brain haemorrhage at home – his wife Eileen and 2 of his 4 children witnessed Paul collapsing in front of them and Eileen gave C.P.R until the ambulance crew arrived.
Paul says "I cannot even begin to think of how they were affected being there throughout the initial collapse at home and then years of rehabilitation – but I do know without them being there I would not have survived and I am extremely thankful to them all for being there and taking care of me throughout and always will be."

Despite everything they have been and still go through Paul and Eileen always continue to smile and we are very proud of them all at HIP.

Paul Hayward completed HIP's 3 mile sponsored walk.

The whole family took part in our Mad Hair Day.

They have raised a fabulous amount of money for us, not only in our awareness week but for the last few years – thank you to you all. I know Paul, Eileen and family are very grateful to all their family and friends who support their fantastic work.
