Crewe Coffee Morning 12th August 2022

It was great to have another face-to-face coffee morning with some of our Crewe members and their friends and family last Friday. We were made very welcome at a new venue – Wells Green Methodist Church between Crewe & Nantwich. It was their weekly open coffee morning .

We had a great time catching up with events, chatting about the hot weather, and meeting Ceri our new activities co-ordinator who came from the ABI Unit in Chester to see us. We talked about possible future events and an AGM – so look out for dates regarding those.

Viv & Keith brought their 2-year-old granddaughter with them, and she was extremely well behaved.

The coffee & tea served by the church members was great and we made a donation to get some Fairtrade snacks and other treats to go with the drinks.

We are not certain what is happening with the coffee mornings from September, and Ceri went to look at some other possible venues. Watch the web site and your emails for further details. Keep safe and see you all soon.
