On Wednesday the 8th of November, HIP members met up for a spot of bowling in Crewe. Members came from a variety of places like Chester, Ellesmere Port, Crewe and Northwich. This meant a group of around 30 HIP members were there to try out their bowling skills. The bowling partakers were split over 6 lanes and the fun began from there! Lots of laughter and cheers could be heard from all the bowlers. Although some bowlers seemed to be more successful than others! Whilst bowling, some people also enjoyed a coffee to keep them going until lunch.

Once each team had finished bowling, everyone took a seat next to the bar with the imminent promise of food approaching! Lunchtime offered a choice of burgers, hot dogs or mini pizzas along with chips and fizzy drinks. After all the excitement of bowling, it seemed people were quite happy to have a bit of a break. Plus it gave everyone the chance to properly catch up and chat.

When everyone had finished their lunches, the winners of this year's bowling outing were revealed. The Northwich bowling team were crowned champions of the event with the Chester and Ellesmere Port team in second place and the Crewe team in third. The star bowler of the day, Gareth, was also awarded with a trophy for gaining an amazing 123 points in his bowling game. Really quite impressive!

After this, the HIP family started to disperse and call it a day but having had a lot of laughs and good fun at Crewe's bowling alley!
